Greek Feta Stuffed Chicken & Salad Recipe

A delicious Greek feta stuffed chicken made with chicken breast stuffed with sundried tomatoes, herbs and feta cheese served with a simple green salad and tzatziki

Recipe Ingreds


  • black pepper (to taste)
  • 2 fillet chicken breasts
  • 50 grams feta cheese
  • 4 sprig fresh parsley
  • 1 cloves garlic
  • 0.5 whole lemon
  • salt (to taste)
  • 3 whole sun dried tomatoes
  • 0.5 tub tzatziki
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 0.5 tsp oregano (dried)


  • 30 grams black olives
  • 75 grams cherry tomatoes
  • 0.5 whole cucumber
  • 40 grams Salad leaves


  • black pepper (to taste)
  • 0.5 tsp oregano (dried)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • salt (to taste)
  • 2 grams caster sugar
  • 0.75 tbsp white wine vinegar

Recipe with pictures Steps

Step 1

  • zest the lemon(s)
  • peel and crush the garlic using the garlic crusher or chop finely
  • wash the herbs
  • place the herbs, lemon zest, garlic feta cheese and sundried tomatoes into a hand liquidiser and blend
  • season with salt and pepper

Step 2

  • place the chicken breast on some cling film fold the cling film over the chicken and then using a rolling pin, bash the chicken till it is about 2 cms thick all over
  • place the cheesy stuffing on to the chicken
  • wrap into a parcel secure with wooden skewers

Step 3

  • heat the frying pan with a little oil
  • Add the chicken
  • to the frying pan
  • turn the meat till it is browned
  • turn the heat down to medium

Step 4

  • place the lid on the frying pan
  • Leave to cook checking occasionally and turning the chicken
  • cook till golden brown
  • cook till the juices run clear

Step 5

  • make the dressing by mixing all the dressing ingredients together

Step 6

  • while the chicken is cooking

Step 7

  • wash mixed leaves and place in a serving bowl.
  • place a cross on the top of the cucumber
  • then slice the cucumber to form quarters
  • sprinkle over the salad leaves

Step 8

  • wash the cherry tomatoes and then slice in half
  • sprinkle over the salad leaves
  • chop the olives
  • sprinkle over the salad leaves
  • add the salad dressing
  • stir to mix the ingredients

Step 9

  • to serve, place the salad mixture in individual bowls

Step 10

  • remove the skewers
  • slice the chicken
  • lay the chicken on the top
  • Add the tzatzki

How to make Greek feta stuffed chicken

Flatten the chicken breasts and stuff with a mixture of feta cheese, lemon, basil, parsley, garlic and sun-dried tomatoes, tightly roll the chicken and secure with skewers. Pan fry the chicken till golden brown and fully cooked. Slice the chicken and serve on a bed of green salad dressed in an oregano dressing and served with tzatziki.
