What information we collect?
Information provided by you

How will we use the information about you?

We collect information about you so that we can:

App subscription

The SoCook app allows the user the full functionality of the app without charge for an 8 week trial period. At the end of the trial period if the user wishes to continue using the app they will be required to subscribe. The user will receive for their subscription a rolling 8-week calendar menu with recipes that match the users personal food lifestyle. They will be able to change their requirements at any time and the menu will be rebuilt to match their needs. Individual recipes can be swapped at the tap of an icon from the full catalogue of recipes, the user can search for new recipes by favourites, individual ingredients, or latest recipes. The user will be able to add the next 7 days of recipes to a shopping list by simply tapping an icon on the individual recipes in the calendar menu. The shopping list will add the ingredients together to form a traditional list. The shopping list is cleverly split into fresh and cupboard ingredients for ease of use. The user will also be able to add a starter and dessert to any main recipe for special occasions and these will be automatically add to the shopping list when the user add the main recipe. The app will provide them with easy access to the recipe instructions via the calendar menu All the recipes have the ingredients included at step level to reduce scrolling.
