Edamame beans and vegetables make a delicious stir fry but what makes this dinner special is the delicious teriyaki sauce coating the veggies and this combines beautifully with the ginger and chive rice.
Edamame beans - we use frozen edamame beans as these gives the best crunch
Spices - the dish is flavoured with garlic cloves and freshly grated ginger
Oriental vegetables - most supermarkets do an oriental mix, you can buy the ingredients separately but it can end up expensive and you will have lots of leftovers so we recommend a supermarket mix
honey - any type of runny honey is perfect for this dish
teriyaki sauce - Teriyaki is Japanese sauce and is a glaze used on meat and vegetables glazed in a sauce of sugar, mirin and soy sauce. The name comes from the noun "teri" which means lustre and refers to the glaze the sauce leaves on the food cooked in the sauce
soy sauce- A dark soy sauce is best for this dish
