The star of this meal is the mixture of the sharpness of the tomatoes which cut through the richness of the Emmenthal and camembert sauce. We are great fans of different pastas such as spinach and whole-wheat but this recipe needs a traditional one
Cheese - Camembert Cheese and emmenthal, this pasta sauce is made from a combo of strong tasting cheeses a strong savoury flavour from the camembert and a mild buttery richness from the emmenthal
Bacon - The bacon is important as it adds a salty bite to the dish, we use smoky bacon to add an extra dimension but if your not a fan use unsmoked
Cream - we use double cream for an extra richness to the flavours, single cream can also be used
Tomatoes - tinned tomatoes are used for this dish, as you need a strong tomato flavour, if you have some great fresh tomatoes give then a go
flavours - Chilli flakes, garlic and basil this dish is packed with flavour from the ingredients so the herbs and spices are a simple combo of garlic, fresh basil and chili flakes
Pasta - this dish has a delicious thick sauce and goes well with all pasta we use penne so the tubes full with cheesy goodness
