Crispy golden battered mushrooms flavoured with chilli, sesame and soy are battered and lightly fried till golden brown, then stir-fried in a Chinese sweet and sour tomato sauce. To make this recipe, wash and chop the mushrooms in half. make the marinade by mixing the egg, sesame oil, soy sauce, chilli flakes and sugar, dip the mushrooms in the marinade and then coat in the cornflour. lightly fry till golden brown. Heat the wok, add the crushed garlic, chopped chilli and grated ginger lightly fry then ass the honey, rice vinegar. soy and tomato sauce and stir. Add the crispy mushrooms and coat in the sauce. Serve the mushrooms on freshly cooked noodles
