How to make Chinese black pepper chicken
Marinate the chicken breast strips in the Chinese five spice,
sesame oil and soy sauce. Slice the
onions, peppers, and spring onions. chop the chilli and crush the garlic. Grind
the peppercorns, and mix the chilli paste, hoisin, soy and white wine. Stir
fry the onions and peppers move to the side of the wok and fry the chicken then
add the fresh chilli, garlic, and black pepper, then the chilli paste
sauce. Finish the stir fry by adding the
cashew nuts stir for a minute or two and then serve on a bed of noodles with a
sprinkle of finely shredded spring onions
Perfect for a cold winter's night, If you are not a fan of noodles serve this spicy dish on a bed of brown or white rice. If you cutting down on the carbs add some chunky additional vegetables such as Pak Choy and eat on its own.
