beef - minced beef is the ideal cut of beef for bolognese, for extra flavour you can add minced pork or pancetta or bacon

vegetables - vegetables add delicious flavour and texture to the sauce, we use carrots, mushrooms, onions and tomatoes

Herbs - the bolognese herbs for us are bay leaves and oregano

Other flavours -

Wine - bolognese needs wine and our preference is chianti or other similar red wines

Pasta - Any pasta goes well with this sauce, spaghetti, penne or tagliatelle

Beef and tomatoes are the perfect combination, add the flavours of Italy to this combo and you have a delicious dish. What makes our spag bol extra special is the addition of Worcester sauce and chianti wine taking the flavours to that extra level.
