Lightly fry the onions and garlic, add the vegetables, adding the vegetables that require the most cooking first, then add the beans, french herbs, yeast extract and tomatoes. To make the cheese dumpling rub together the flour and butter add the grated cheese and form into dumplings. Place the stew in a casserole dish place the cheese dumplings on top and cook for about 15 minutes in the oven until the dumplings are cooked and golden brown.
